The work involves upgrades at the Central Butte Water Treatment Plant including but not limited to the supply and installation of four ultraviolet (UV) disinfection units, supply and installation of a sodium hypochlorite chemical dosing system, replacement of some existing piping and valves, replacement of some existing electrical and controls equipment and the installation of a new standby generator.
