Demolition, site work, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Willis, Virginia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; for the construction of a residential development; for the renovation of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
The County of Floyd is soliciting bids for Rehabilitation of existing homes and construction of new homes within the County for existing homeowners. The funding for this construction is through the Department of Housing and Community Development Block Grant Program. This solicitation is one of a series of planned rehabilitation and construction projects to be undertaken during the next 12-18 months. This first solicitation is for the demolition of an existing home and neccessary building and the construction of a new two-bedroom home. Also included is the drilling of a new well, complete with pump and additional required piping and attachments and connections to the existing septic system. The project location is at 464 Dusty Mile Road, Willis, Virginia 24380. Bidders must be a licensed Class A contractor or registered as a Class B contractor in good standing in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Floyd County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, wave informalities and irregularities in bidding and to accept bids from qualified contractors considered to be in the best interest of the County of Floyd.
