Renovation of a mixed-use development in Fort Worth, Texas. Design plans call for the renovation of a 150,000-square-foot educational facility; library; and parking garage.
This project will be a renovation of approximately 150,000 gross square feet (GSF) for a collection of phased renovation projects that include both laboratory and non-laboratory renovations with a variety of complexities for the goal of improved campus optimization and efficiency. Scope of services will include programming validation, programming, and design services as needed per individual. The renovation locations include UNTHSC Mattison Parking Garage (UNTHSC Police facilities), Gibson D. Lewis Library (LIB), Center for BioHealth (CBH), Carl E. Everett Education & Administration Building (EAD), and Research & Education Building (RES). As scopes are confirmed and defined, other campus facilities may be included. As of November 15, 2023, the design firm has been selected. However, the construction document completion timeline has not been determined. A tentative bid schedule for contractors has not been disclosed. Further details regarding firm construction and completion timelines have not been established.
