Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Calhoun, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Calhoun Housing Authority ("CHA") is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to complete parking lot ADA Ramp and Sidewalk repair to include existing ramps to be ADA compliant and safer, repair specified damaged sidewalk from recent waterline repairs, insert new ADA compliant ramps, and one ADA compliant parking pad. The CHA is a public housing authority funded by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development. The funding for this project is already approved, and funds are readily available for expenditure. Payment schedules are determined by the length of time required for this project, however, our general rule is to provide a prompt payment upon completion of work for projects requiring 60 days or less to complete. CHAs intent is to begin this project as soon as possible after an award is made. Interested parties will be required to submit 2 copies of a complete bid in a sealed envelope to the CHA labeled "Sidewalk Ramp." The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
