Site work for a water / sewer project in Main-A-Dieu, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This is the first phase (Phase 1) of a two-phase competition: the first phase will evaluate the qualifications of all bidders; second phase (Phase 2) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. Upon award of contract in Phase Two the pre-qualification list will be terminated, no additional contracts will be awarded. Scope: - Mobilization to site. - Installation and maintenance of environmental controls required to complete the work. - Removal and disposal of the existing concrete skidway and timber skids. - Excavation and grading as required to facilitate construction of the new skidway. - Placement of C5 Clear Stone material for installation of the new skidway. - Installation of precast concrete panels. - Pouring and curing the new reinforced concrete skidway. - Installation of C1 Clear Stone and 300mm Armour Stone around the base and sides of the new skidway for scour protection. - Installation of new transverse timber/UHMW-PE skids. - Disposal of excess fills offsite. - Site cleanup. - Removal of environmental controls. - Demobilization from the site..
