Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Nelson Township, Ohio. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Estimated Construction Cost: $1,195,709.70 Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in bond form, shall be issued by a surety company or corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than October 31, 2023. At the beginning following the project identification the DBE goal designation is written, i.e. DBE Goal: 10%. Waiver Process for DBE Goals: See Attachment "1", ODOT LPA Template, Page 16, Good Faith Effort (GFEs).
