Renovation of a water / sewer project in Duvall, Washington. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Upgrade to Duvall's Inflow and Infiltration System. Currently the city has aging infrastructure in the "Old Town" area. The pipes are non-gasketed concrete as well as manholes that accept groundwater. The groundwater in the winter can add 2-4 times the normal amount of flow (mixed liquor) received and treated at the Waste Water Treatment Plant. This adds wear and tear to equipment and consumes process power unnecessarily. We aim to seal off the system over time. This is an annual program. This project is included in the City of Duvall's FY 2023-2024 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of February 6, 2023, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. Funding is anticipated in 2023/2024.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
