Renovation of a detention facility in Watertown, South Dakota. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Codington County is soliciting proposals from interested and qualified engineering & design firms to rehabilitate the HVAC system and roof of the Codington County Detention Center at 14 1st Ave. SE Watertown, SD 57201. The work is to be in accordance with all applicable building codes, regulations, and laws. This project is to rehabilitate the current HVAC system and to reroof a portion of the building. The county desires a heating and cooling system that can service both the detention center and adjacent historic courthouse. The basic scope of work is envisioned to include: Design, engineering and necessary drawings, Management of the bidding process, Contract administration and construction oversight. Codington County does not discriminate on the basis of color, national origin, sex, religion, age, or disability in employment or the provision of service. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time
