The City of Tamarac is hereby requesting bids from qualified Contractors for construction of the University Drive Median Landscaping Improvement Project, Bid No. 23-10B. The Project is generally located within the University Drive landscaping medians, between Southgate Boulevard and NW 78th Street, Tamarac, Florida. The work shall include, but not limited to, clearing and grubbing, removal of existing pavers, removal of existing irrigation systems, installation of tree protection barriers, root and branch pruning, installation of landscaping improvements, installation of brick pavers and irrigation system improvements. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete this project, as indicated in the Special Conditions, Special Provisions, Project Design Plans and Technical Specifications, and Bid No. 23-10B Documents herein. All proposed improvements shall be completed in accordance with the project bid documents, design plans, details, technical specifications / scope of work and all applicable federal, state, county, and local regulatory requirements. Any uncertainty regarding the time a Bid is received will be resolved against the Bidder. Local Tamarac Vendors, Broward County Certified Business Entities, Minority-Owned, Woman-Owned, Veteran-Owned and Small Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation. City reserves the right to reject any or all Bidder, to waive any informalities or irregularities in any Bids received, to re-advertise for Bids, to award in whole or in part to one or more Bidders, or take any other such actions that may be deemed to be in the best interests of the City.
