The choice of service providers selected will be made following the recommendations of a selection committee, according to the evaluation criteria described in the contractual documents. All bidders must comply with the requirements contained in the contract documents. These can only be obtained through the electronic tendering system . Caution: Please note that only the documents required by the Public Body under the terms of this notice must be submitted with the tender, so as to avoid any situation that would result in the tender being restrictive or conditional. Tina Russo Procurement Manager trusso@emsb.qc.ca SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF MANDATES The professionals selected at the end of the qualification process will be part of a list of qualified service providers willing to carry out various mandates within the framework of their respective profession. In the event that different disciplines are necessary for the execution of a mandate, the architectural firm must also provide the related professional services (engineers, laboratories, surveyors, experts, etc.) required for the smooth running of the project, and this with the help of subcontractors if required. These services are usually less extensive than the mandate given to the architect, but it is important to note that the School Board will give only one mandate, so that the architectural firm can ensure that the related services are well coordinated and planned and that the chosen solution is optimized according to the general and specific objectives of each project. These professionals may be called upon to carry out various mandates of the following nature: 3.1.1 feasibility study. 3.1.2 inspection and obsolescence report; 3.1.3 issuance of professional opinions; 3.1.4 site surveys, plans, specifications and estimates; 3.1.5 preparation of tender documents; 3.1.6 technical support during the bidding period; 3.1.7 services during construction; 3.1.8 follow-up of payments and termination of contract and receipts; 3.1.9 updating CSEM plans; 3.1.10 any other task associated with his profession.
