Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Leon, Kansas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

The proposed work is located upon the public highway in the Butler County. Said proposed improvements include the construction of the following work together with all work involved and indicated by the plans and specifications. Reinforced Concrete Haunched Slab (RCSH), with a 30 roadway. This bridge is located on SE Cole Creek Road, approximately 0.2 mile South of SE 140th Street. This is 4.2 miles South of the City of Leon. This project will be bid and built in accordance with the Standard Specifications of the Kansas Department of Transportation, Edition 2015, together with the general provisions, special conditions and supplements included herein. The provisions in these documents shall be considered to supersede the requirements of Standard Specifications. The deposit of the successful bidder will be retained and he will be furnished with an additional four (4) complete sets of Plans and Specifications. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond acceptable to the County in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the proposal, payable without condition to the County as a guarantee that the bidder, if awarded the contract, will promptly execute such contract in accordance with the proposal. Butler County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any technicalities. Interested bidders must contact the owner directly for plans and to be added to the planholders list.
