Renovation of an educational facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Lighting Conversion - CVM Main Building Phase 1 Project Description: (An in-depth narrative of the details of the project and any unique features, including but not limited to tight site, overtime/nights/weekend work, specialty trades, LEED certification, research lab, medical space, museum space, occupied renovation, residence hall, special equipment, etc.) Within the CVM Main building, this project will convert the existing lighting to LED for energy savings. Existing fixtures will either be retrofitted or replaced. Approximately 43,650 square feet of the building will be included with this phase of the project. This square footage consists primarily of hallways and stairwells. Parts of the building may be occupied during construction, and some night/weekend work may be necessary. To qualify, the contractor must have a general contractor's license or an unlimited electrical license in the State of North Carolina as well as applicable bonding requirements. The contractor must show comparable work experience, both in complexity and dollar value, and preferably in a university campus environment, to the scope of work outlined above
