Renovation of an educational facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 30,000-square-foot educational facility.
Project Description One-Two Sentences In order to offer architectural or engineering services in response to this solicitation, the proposer must be licensed in the State of North Carolina. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. Complete plans and specifications for this project can be obtained from SKA Consulting Engineers, Inc., 4651 Charlotte Park Drive Suite 150, Charlotte, NC 28217 during normal office hours. Files will be issued electronically only. A plan deposit is not required. The bidder shall include with the bid proposal the form Identification of Minority Business Participation identifying the minority business participation it will use on the project and shall include either Affidavit A or Affidavit B as applicable. Forms and instructions are included within the Proposal Form in the bid documents. Failure to complete these forms is grounds for rejection of the bid. (GS143-128.2c Effective 1/1/2002.) The project mainly consists of approximately 7,820 square feet of total tear-off and new roof installation plus 20,505 square feet of partial tear-off and installation of new cover board, membrane, and flashings (base bid).
