The requirement will include FURUNO BNWAS for all seven (7) vessels as well as two (2) complete spare systems as follows: 1. CCGS Griffon 2. CCGS Samuel Risley 3. CCGS Pierre Radisson 4. CCGS Des Groseilliers 5. CCGS Martha L. Black 6. CCGS Amundsen 7. CCGS Judy LaMarsh 8. Alternate System 1 9. Alternate System 2 The procurement strategy is to award a single contract for the supply and delivery of BNWAS equipment in accordance with requirement stated in the RFP, through a competitive process on Buyandsell.gc.ca. The Contractor must be an Authorized FURUNO Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Distributor/Reseller and must complete the FURUNO OEM Certification which will be attached to this bid solicitation document for this requirement. This requirement is subject to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA). A complete Request for Proposals (RFP) is posted on the Government Electronic Tendering Service (GETS) for this requirement. The requirement is not subject to Comprehensive Land Claims Agreements (CLCAs) as none of the locations to which the goods are to be delivered are located within a Land Claims Settlement Area. The requirement is not considered a set aside as per the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business (PSAB). The Canadian Content Policy will not apply to this requirement. In order to be considered compliant, the bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract. Canada reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers the terms of any contract.
