This project has been awarded to Northbank Civil & Marine of Vancouver, WA at $277,391. The 2023 Berth Maintenance Repairs Project refurbishes or replaces damaged or missing elements on berths: 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 9 and 10 at the Port of Vancouver. Work includes, but is not limited to, removal of damaged timber fender piles, replacement of UHMW panels and strips, repair of fender pile cap, replacement of treated timber chocks and waler, repair of concrete spall and furnishing additional UHMW strips and panels. The removal of three timber fender piles from Berth 1 shall be completed before February 28, 2023, to maintain compliance with the in-water work permits and the remainder of the project shall be substantially completed with 120 calendar days after the notice to proceed.
