Site work for a detention facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a detention facility.
As of February 9, 2023, bids were canceled. No definite date for the rebid. In general, the work consists of demolition and replacement of existing 4ft-high chain-link fencing around the Felmers O. Chaney Correctional Center with new 6ft-high spear top fencing; addition of new 10ft-high chain-link fence; and replacement of existing vehicle and pedestrian gates and motors for vehicle gate. Sealed bids will also be received as follows: Hand delivery to the drop box labeled SEALED BIDS ONLY in front of the State of Wisconsin 29 Administration Building located at 101 East Wilson Street, Madison, Wisconsin 53703. The successful Contractor must agree to commence work on or after a date to be specified in a written "Notice to 38 Proceed" and to fully complete all work within 60 consecutive calendar days thereafter.
