Questions and requests for additional information due to the PRA 1/6/23 by 3:00 PM The Work covers the removal of existing infrastructure and installation of improvements at Ziehler Playground and Recreation Center, located. Project Scope includes the removal of existing paving, subbase, play equipment, safety surfacing, fencing, and landscaping on the site, and selective demolition and removal of existing partition walls, casework, countertops, roofing, and electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and lighting equipment and fixtures from the building. The Work includes the construction of a new play area, basketball courts, and seating area, including play equipment, safety surface, paving, furnishings, landscaping, and fencing on the site, and new partitions, casework, countertops, furnishings, and electrical, mechanical, and plumbing equipment and fixtures. The Work also includes Green Stormwater Infrastructure Improvements within the Olney Avenue and B Street Right-of-Ways. For the purposes of this Plan, MBE, WBE, DBE and DSBE shall refer to certified businesses so recognized by the City of Philadelphia through its Office of Economic Opportunity ("OEO"). Only the work or supply effort of firms that are certified as M/W/DSBEs by an OEO approved certifying agency[1] at the time of bid opening will be eligible to receive credit as a Best and Good Faith Effort. In order to be counted, certified firms must successfully complete and submit to the OEO an application to be included in the OEO Registry which is a list of registered M/W/DSBEs maintained by the OEO and available online at www.phila.gov/oeo/directory.
