Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Anderson Township, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Any modification of the plans or specifications and estimates of cost of the Project will be furnished to BIDDERS by the OWNER through ARC Document Solutions in the form of a written addendum, and modifications will be deemed furnished when sent to the email address or fax number on file with ARC Document Solutions that each BIDDER is responsible for providing when purchasing the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. It is therefore imperative that BIDDERS provide full and accurate contact information to ARC Document Solutions. Any modifications will also be furnished to BIDDERS by means of posting on ARC Document Solution portal. Interpretations, corrections, and changes of the bidding documents made in any manner other than a written addendum will not be binding, and Bidders shall not rely upon them. Each Bidder must ascertain prior to submitting a Bid that the Bidder has received all Addenda issued, and the Bidder shall acknowledge their receipt in the Bid. If the Bidder fails to acknowledge receipt of each Addendum, the Bid may be deemed non-responsive, unless the Bid amount clearly and unambiguously reflects receipt of the Addendum, or the Addendum involves only a matter of form and does not affect the price, quantity, or quality of the Work to be performed in any material manner. Bids must be delivered to the designated location not later than the time and date for receipt of Bids. The cancellation or delay of the normal business activities of the Owner shall not be construed as an extension of the time and date for the receipt and opening of Bids. Bids received after the time and date for receipt of Bids will be returned unopened regardless of the reason for the delay. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity, and a complete listing of all subcontractors to be used and shall otherwise comply with the requirements of the INFORMATION FOR BIDDERS. The right is reserved by the OWNER to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in bids received and to accept any bid which it deems to be the lowest and best and/or most responsive/responsible bid. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the Project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of the Project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and the Governor's Executive Order 84-9 is required. The Contractor must comply with the Prevailing Wage Rates on public improvements in Hamilton County as ascertained by the State of Ohio Department of Commerce. No Bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of the bids. Domestic steel use requirements as specified in section 153.011 of the revised code applies to this project. Copies of section 153.011 of the revised code can be obtained from the township offices at anderson center. Last day to submit questions for addendum - January 5, 2023, 10:00 a.m. Work on the Project will begin on or after the date specified in the written Notice to Proceed as March 20, 2023. The Project will be completed in accordance with the Contract Documents no later than August 4, 2023. Liquidated damages will be paid to the Owner in the amount of $400.00 per day for each calendar day, commencing the day after the Completion Date, that the Project is not completed.
