The Project includes the following Work: The Work generally described is the remodel of one kitchen area at the Water District's Administrative Headquarters located 10747 Renner Blvd, Lenexa, KS 66219. The Contractor is asked for Unit Pricing for Time and a Total Materials pricing for this work. Upon evaluation of the bids, the successful bidder will be awarded the above mentioned work, along with a Contract for three years, with the option to renew the contract each year for a total of 5 years, for remodel work for the Water District. The designated portal will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated portal. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond (EJCDC Penal Sum Form) of 5% of the amount of the Bid. Bid security must accompany each Bid by uploading a PDF version of the Bid Bond to portal. The Bid security shall be made payable, without condition, to Owner. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Public Works Bond as security for the faithful performance and the payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the contract. If the Contract is to be awarded, Owner will award a Contract to the Bidder who, in Owner's judgment, is the lowest, qualified, responsible, and responsive Bidder. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation the rights to reject any or all erroneous, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids, and to reject the Bid of any Bidder or all Bids if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of Owner to make an award to that Bidder. Owner also reserves the right to waive informalities. Pre-bid Conference There is no pre-bid conference for this project. Instructions to Bidders.
