Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

For Sidewalk Repair and Drainage Improvements Project scope includes but is not limited to the following: 1. Removal and disposal of an existing catch basin, 6 piping, concrete sidewalks/pads, bituminous concrete pavement, and concrete curbing. 2. Removal and relocation of an existing mailbox. 3. Installation of two rain gardens with yard drains and associated piping. 4. Installation of a double catch basin with associated piping. 5. Installation of concrete sidewalk and curbing. 6. Installation of bituminous concrete sidewalk, curbing, and pavement. ALL work is to be substantially completed and ready within One Hundred Twenty (120) calendar days from issuance of a Purchase Order. The Project shall mobilize, and construction starts no later than Seven (7) calendar days after receiving submittal approvals from the Project Manager and/or Construction Administrator. Owner reserves the right to stop work if it becomes disruptive to the daily business/operation of the court and/or detention center. The Judicial Branch will assess against the contract as liquidated damages and not by way of penalty, the sum specified in the project information section for each day beyond the date given for completion of the project. Liquidated Damages: Five hundred dollars ($500.00) per calendar day. The Owner (Judicial Branch), at their discretion, may waive liquidated damages, or any portion thereof.
