The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the complete installation of various types of landscaping throughout Devries Park. Other related work shall include preparing, restoring and cleaning the project area all in accordance with the plans and specifications as directed by the Engineer. Any questions regarding the Contract Documents should be directed to Anthony Giaccio through email (agiaccio@sleepyhollow.org). Bidders shall promptly notify Mr. Giaccio of any errors, omissions, conflicts or ambiguity within the Contract Documents within five (5) days of bid opening. Grant funds are utilized on this project and are subject to all applicable requirements. Bids shall be made on the separate Bid Proposal Forms furnished with the Specifications and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond acceptable to the Village or a certified cashier's check drawn on a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 5% of the total amount ofthe Bid. Checks shall be made payable to the Village of Sleepy Hollow, New York, and are to be held by the Village as a guarantee for the proper execution and delivery ofthe Contract and bonds to secure the faithful performance thereof. In default ofsuch execution and delivery ofContract and Bonds, the amount ofthe deposit represented by the check shall be forfeited to and retained by the Village of Sleepy Hollow as liquidated damages. Proposals shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the Bidder, addressed to the Village ofSleepy Hollow, 28 Beekman Avenue, Sleepy Hollow, New York 10591 and endorsed "Proposed Pocantico River and Devries Park Improvement Project, Sleepy Hollow, New York." The Village ofSleepy Hollow reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any informality in any Bid, and to award the Contract to other than the lowest Bidder ifdeemed in the best interest ofthe Village to do so
