The City of Suwanee is soliciting Statement of Qualifications from qualified firm(s) or organization(s) to provide engineering design services for a continuous pedestrian and bicycle path that will connect the City's neighborhoods, commercial districts and parks. The project consists of multiple trail segments and a pedestrian/bicycle bridge over Peachtree Industrial Boulevard. The City of Suwanee (the Community) is soliciting Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firm(s) or organization(s) to provide consultant services for a continuous pedestrian and bicycle path that will connect the City's neighborhoods, commercial districts and parks. The project consists of multiple trail segments and a pedestrian/bicycle bridge over Peachtree Industrial Boulevard. The segments include the following: pedestrian/bicycle bridge over Peachtree Industrial Boulevard at Silver Peak Parkway (access points to be atgrade), 8-12' wide path continuing south on Silver Peak Parkway and following along power easement (from Peachtree Industrial Boulevard to Eva Kennedy Road), 8-12' wide side path on Eva Kennedy Road (from power easement to Stonecypher Road), 8-12' side path on Stonecypher Road (from Eva Kennedy Road to Main Street), 8-12' wide side path on Main Street (from existing pedestrian tunnel near Suwanee Dam Road to Russell Street), 8-12' wide path along Russell Street (from Main Street crossing over railroad tracks to White Street), and 8-12' wide side path along White Street (from Russell Street to White Street Park trail entrance). This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeks to identify potential providers for the Scope of Services for the project/contract listed in Exhibit I. Firms that respond to this RFQ, and are determined by the Community to be sufficiently qualified, may be deemed eligible, and invited to offer a technical approach and/or possibly present and/or interview for these services. All respondents to this RFQ are subject to instructions communicated in this document, and are cautioned to completely review the entire RFQ and follow instructions carefully. The Community reserves the right to reject any or all SOQs or Technical Approach, and to waive technicalities and informalities at the discretion of the Community.
