Renovation of a municipal facility in Newcastle, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
There will be no Pre-bid meeting. All Bids must be submitted on Nabholz Bid Form, to include all Affidavits (Refer CM Manual), to be considered responsive. All bids totaling $50,000 or over must be accompanied by bid security in the form of certified or cashier's check or a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of amount of bid. Upon approval by Owner of acceptable bids, a Letter of Intent to contract or written contract will be awarded within forty-five (45) days after the opening of qualified, responsive bids. All bid amounts must be held and guaranteed through the entire forty-five (45) day post-bid award period. NCC will retain bid security and, at Owner's option, use it for liquidated damages in case successful bidder fails to enter into contract and furnish required bonds within seven (7) days of receipt of contract. A designated duration for each scope of work will be required on the Bid Form to be considered qualified and responsive. Durations will be a very significant and material factor to NCC and Owner when selecting the Lowest Responsible Bid(s). NCC and Owner reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities or minor irregularities in any bid in accordance with OK Competitive Bidding Act. New 4,500 sf single-story building to provide animal welfare services to the City of Newcastle. R-30 Roofing is required with an all adhered system and use manufactures recommended walk pads.
