Site work and paving for a road / highway in Commerce Township, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
**As of February 27, 2023, the project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The Project consists of milling and repaving Whitlow Court which consists of approximately 2,100 square yards of cold milling 3-4" of HMA surface, 175 tons of MDOT 5E1 wearing HMA at 1.5" thick, 350 tons of MDOT 3C base HMA at 3" thick, and other related items. Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Maintenance Bond 50 % - Surety Bond 100 % - Labor and Materials Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % Sealed Bids shall be submitted on the forms provided in the Bid Documents. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders, payable to the Charter Township of Commerce. Each Bidder agrees to waive any claim it has or may have against the Owner, Engineer, and their respective Employees, arising out of or in connection with the administration, evaluation, or recommendation of any Bid. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all base or alternative Bid items of work, in whole or in part, and to waive any informalities, therein when such waiver is in the interest of the Owner, and to award the Contract to other than the low Bidder.
