Sealed bids for the construction of an 8-inch PVC potable water main to extend west along Main Street from Castle Marina Road to Shopping Center Road within Queen Anne's County, Maryland The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder once sureties and insurance requirements are satisfied.The work of this contract, Contract No. SAN 23-01, consists of the installation of approximately 3,300 linear feet of 8-inch PVC water sewer main via open trench. The work will be within SHA rights-of-way. Work will include the installation of division valves, fire hydrants, and service stubs. Work will also require any trench within paving to be repaired with hot mix asphalt base course at the end of each week. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder once sureties and insurance requirements are satisfied.
