Renovation of a theater / auditorium in Davenport, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.

A. Design Requirements: Contractor shall design an office plan that is in alignment with the provided schematic. Contractor/vendor shall provide drawings, pictures, available finishes, supply samples, and specifications for the proposed remodel layout and workspace design. Products supplied shall have minimum 10 year full warranty. Full warranty information shall be included in the project proposal. City staff or separate contractor will be responsible for any IT-related items. B. Measurements: Contractor is responsible for exact measurements. During the mandatory pre-proposal meeting prospective bidders will have the opportunity to collect measurements. City personnel will be present to answer any questions and explain design expectations. C. Furnish and Install Requirements: The various functions and types of work required to install the equipment purchased in conjunction with this Request for Proposal. Any technical omissions of functions or types of work within these specifications but obviously necessary for the proper completion of the work shall not relieve the Contractor from furnishing, installing or performing such work where required to the satisfactory completion of the project. The Contractor shall include all costs associated with installation in its proposal price and shall not identify installation costs as a separate item. D. Proof of Order: After the award is processed, a Purchase Order will be issued. Awarded vendors will have 1 week after PO is issued to show proof of ordering the equipment. Th proof must be emailed to the project manager. The City is aware some products are delayed in delivery, and wants to make sure our orders are placed in a timely manner. E. Identification and Safety: Any person making deliveries to or working on City of Davenport property must be identifiable by uniform, proper identification, and a marked vehicle. The Contractor shall only furnish employees who are competent and skilled for work under the Contract. If, in the opinion of the City, an employee of the Contractor or Sub Contractor is incompetent or disorderly, refuses to perform in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Contract, threatens or uses abusive language while on City property, or is otherwise unsatisfactory, Contractor or Sub Contractors shall be removed from all work under the Contract. F. Property Damage: Contractor will ensure that its employees observe and exercise all necessary caution and discretion so as to avoid injury to person or damage to property of any and all kinds. All buildings, equipment and furnishings shall be protected by the Contractor from damage, which might be done or caused by work performed under the Contract. Such damages to the foregoing shall be repaired and/or replaced by approved methods so as to restore the damaged areas to their original condition at the expense of the Contractor. The Contractor shall erect, install, and maintain all temporary public walks, warning signs, barricades, and other protective means as may be necessary for the protection of the public from injury. -As of December 29, 2022, this bid has been cancelled. The owner plans to revise the specifications and reissue the bid at a future date to be determined. The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals from qualified vendors for the City of Davenport RiverCenter/Adler Theatre Box Office to redesign and upgrade the layout of the Adler Box Office as well as furnish and install signage, desks and associated furniture. Installation will be a redesign of the space currently used as the Adler Box Office located at 136 East Third Street, Davenport, Iowa.
