Work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the construction of roadway improvements on West Mercer Way from Seashore Drive to Avalon Drive. Work consists of temporary traffic control, pavement removal, hydrant removals, and installations, water service relocations, storm drainage pipes and catch basin installations, grading, hot mix asphalt shoulder widening, utility adjustments, and pavement markings. Bidders questions are to be directed to Ian Powell, Street Engineer Engineers Estimated Cost (range): $510,000 to $560,000 A bid deposit in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid total price must accompany each bid. A single contract is to be awarded to the responsible bidder submitting the lowest responsive bid. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive minor irregularities. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
