Site work for a water / sewer project in Mercer Island, Washington. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Replace 1,880 feet of 8-inch and 10-inch asbestos cement (AC) and concrete sewer mains while upsizing to 12-inch and 16-inch pipes. Site locations are: 1) West Mercer Way in front of the West Mercer Elementary School; 2) through the east part of Mercerdale Park, on SE 34th St, and down 77th Ave SE; and 3) in front of Mercerdale Park on SE 32nd St, between 77th Ave SE and 78th Ave SE. The design was funded by ARPA. Target Completion Date Q4 2024 Project is included in the City of Mercer Island's FY 2023-2028 Budget CIP. As of January 30, 2023, this project is in planning/design. A design team has been identified. Information regarding a bidding or construction timeline is not available. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
