The work to be bid on for the installation of a Cured-In-Place liner into approximately 6,300 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer pipe and 615 linear feet of 15-inch sanitary sewer pipe. The Project also calls for 19 mainline point repairs and approximately 87 Cured-In-Place and 13 Open Cut Replacement lateral repairs. Lastly, there are approximately 950 vertical feet of manhole lining with a polymer or epoxy-based liner, installation of 1 new manhole, and replacement of 1 existing manhole. The scope of the project will include all necessary labor, tools, and equipment required to complete the jobs according to the specifications. The allotted construction time is 280 days to substantial completion and 310 days for final completion. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each Bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders, All Bidders must be licensed General Contractors as required by the Contractor's Licensing Act of 1994 of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee, and qualified for the type of construction being bid upon. Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246.
