Furnishing and Delivery of Stone Material The bid proposal shall be submitted on the form of proposal furnished by the Deputy Township Clerk, properly filled out and executed. The bid proposal must be enclosed in a sealed envelope furnished by the bidder and directed to the Deputy Township Clerk of the Township of Cedar Grove and shall bear on the outside "Bid for Furnishing & Delivery of Stone Material to the Township of Cedar Grove" together with the name and address of the bidder. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a duly executed Non-Collusion Affidavit. The Township Council of the Township of Cedar Grove reserves the right to select the contract items which in its judgement best serves the public interest. The requirement for bidders to submit a Bid Bond, Certified Check or Cashier's Check with the bid proposal has been waived by the governing body. Bids may be held by the Municipality for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and other documents prior to the award of the contract. Bidders are required to familiarize themselves and comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A.-10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.S.A.-17 :27 and be registered with the State of New Jersey Department of Labor in accordance with N.J.S.A.-34:11-56:48 et seq. and Disclosure of Investment Activities in Iran Form. Bidders are required to familiarize themselves and comply with the requirements of these statutes. The contract period will be three (3) years from date of signature. Further, the Township Council of the Township of Cedar Grove shall reserve the right to reject any or all bids if in the interest of the Township it deems advisable to do so or to waive insubstantial irregularities in the Bid Proposal permitted by law.
