The Project includes a wide array of water system improvement projects located throughout the District that include the following Work: Construction of concrete water tanks, four new booster stations, well facility, water system retrofits, and other miscellaneous water system improvements. Work also includes water lines, site work, buildings, controls/communications, and restoration associated with the improvements. Electrical and Controls, Water Transmission Pipelines, Construction, Removal and Replacement of pipe, Water Storage Tank, Elevated - Ground Storage Tanks, Masonry Construction & Restoration, Water and Wastewater Facilities, Pumps or Pump stations, Grubbing & Clearing, Waterlines The major project elements for the Water Improvements construction project are listed below. This list is not all inclusive, and does not relieve the Contractor of the requirements of the Plans and Specifications: 1. Civil Site Work a. Earthwork excavation for new structures. b. Placement of all backfill including native and imported materials. c. Yard piping including new water line, fire hydrants, and other utilities as shown on the drawings. d.
