Includes replacement of domestic cold water, hot water and condensate piping around water heater as required to adapt to new water heater. New concentric venting to be provided through attic space using existing penetrations. HVAC work consists of: Replacement of (16) existing gas-fired furnaces with new condensing type furnaces. Also includes installation of new Venting and Intake piping through attic spaces for gable end penetration with concentric fitting. This is a HUD funded project and is subject to Davis Bacon Wage Rates 1. Replacement of all existing gas-fired Water Heaters and Furnaces as scheduled within the Contract Document Drawings and specified within specifications. 2. Replacement of all existing water heater concentric venting with new as indicated in drawings. 3. Installation of new concentric venting for new furnaces as indicated in drawings. 4. Cutting, patching and painting to match existing of walls and soffits as necessary for installation. 5. Installation of new piping and sheet metal fittings as required to adapt new water heaters and furnaces to existing systems. 6. Balancing of air systems connected to furnace, balanced for comfort. Measure airflow before replacement and setting up new furnaces to provide same airflow as existing (as a minimum) and up to 20% over (as a maximum). 7.
