Bids will be awarded at the next regularly scheduled Board Meeting of the Board of County Road Commissioners following the due date for receipt of bids. Firm Bids for ONE YEAR SEASONS REQUIREMENTS of crushed limestone of various sizes and grades. The requirements of this bid are of both Michigan Department of Transportation and Ohio Department of Transportation specifications loaded into road commission trucks or county contracted trucks. The Lenawee County Road Commission will have the right to sample all material either at the site or delivery point and test same. Any material not meeting the specifications may be rejected. The right is reserved to accept or reject any or all bids or any part of same, to waive irregularities and/or informalities in bids and to make the award in whole or in part as may appear to be in the best interests of the Lenawee County Road Commission and Lenawee County. Following the bid opening, the bids are reviewed by various staff members to determine recommendations to the County Board of Road Commissioners on their next regular meeting date. Notification of the bid award will be mailed to each bidder on the next business day following the Board Meeting and that information is not available until that time. Bidder will specify plant location. If material is bid from more than one source, give location of each source. Each successful bidder will be required to execute a customer - supplier agreement with the Road Commission detailing the expectations and course of dealing expected of both the supplier and the Road Commission.
