The City of Wetaskiwin is seeking a Request for Proposal for the provisions of day-to- day, on-site management, and operation of the City of Wetaskiwin Waste Management Services, including the operations of the City landfill, recycling centre, yard waste drop off, and curbside waste collection, including a detailed annual report summarizing the integrated waste management systems in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions set out in this Request for proposal(RFP) document. The City is looking for a qualified Proponent(s) that will be able to deliver all or parts of the components identified as our waste management services, beginning May 1, 2023. Due to the scope of the program, the City will consider proposals for the complete program or for various components. The City reserves the right to award one contract or multiple contracts. Separate contracts could be awarded for waste collection, recycling centre operations and/or curbside recycling, yard waste collection, and landfill operations or a combined contract could be awarded.
