The Bluewater District School Board (BWDSB) is requesting qualified Construction Management companies to submit a response to this Request for Proposal (RFP) for the provision of Construction Management Services for Roof Membrane Replacement, Skylight Repair, Exterior Caulking, HVAC & Electrical Upgrades, Barrier Free Washroom Renovation and Limited Site Works at Amabel-Sauble Community School, 555 Sauble Falls Pkwy, Sauble Beach, ON N0H 2G0. General Scope of Work - 2023: Thermal & Building Envelope: - Removal & disposal of existing roof membrane to existing roof deck level - Removal of existing metal flashings, new parapet construction & capping - Installation of new 2-ply mod-bit roofing system complete - Repair/replace of existing roof skylight unit Mechanical & Electrical: - Mechanical upgrades including installation of Board pre-purchased rooftop HVAC units - Decommission & removal of existing boiler heat system & associated components - Electrical upgrade of interior light fixtures to LED throughout school Exterior & Site Work: - Cleaning of exterior brick I; Exterior window, door & control joint caulking - Painting of exterior metal wall cladding - Minor site works including tree removals & remediation - New door hardware replacement throughout school Other Scope Items: - Structural steel reinforcement for new roof curb unit installation - Acoustical tile & drywall ceiling removal & replacement in areas of M&E scope Some evening and/or weekend work may be required as part of this project.
