The Project consists of constructing - A single floor not-for-profit medical clinic. Building construction is slab-on-grade, wood frame with pitched shingle roof. Project to include all related plumbing, HVAC and electrical on a relatively flat site and includes site improvements including grading, paving and site utilities. If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the proposal must be enclosed in another envelope and mailed to the City of Mount Sterling, 33 N. Maysville Street, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky allowing sufficient time for such mailing to reach this address prior to the scheduled closing time for the receipt of proposals. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the City of Mount Sterling in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the date bids are opened. The City of Mount Sterling reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive formalities and any bid that is obviously unbalanced may be rejected. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract.
