Contract Documents shall include both the design of any new facilities and the demolition and removal of existing facilities.Services to be provided include preparation of construction documents for the demolition of the former Highway Authority Administration Building and construction of a new Traffic Management Center (TMC) Building Annex structure to include office space and bunk rooms at Garden State Parkway (GSP) Milepost 129 NB. The existing Statewide Traffic Management Center (STMC) is a 28,000 sq. ft. multi-agency traffic command center for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority (NJTA or Authority). This building shall remain and shall operate in conjunction with the new building annex. Information to be included in the documents will be the requirements for inspections of the buildings for asbestos containing materials (ACM), lead paint and any other such environmental items; utility order preparation for disconnection of domestic water, sanitary sewer, electricity, natural gas, and other utilities which may be present.
