Clinton St., Suite 1 Iowa City, IA 52245 (319) 248-5679 avonarb@opnarchitects.com Project Location: Work shall be performed under this Contract on the campus of the University of Iowa at Currier Hall, 413 N. Clinton St. 1. Architectural: Remove existing vanities, medicine cabinets, towel bars, carpet tile, draperies and drapery rods. Install layer of gypsum board over existing plaster walls and ceilings, paint refinished walls and ceilings, repaint existing doors and frames, repaint convector heater covers, replace window sills, install LVT, vanities, medicine cabinets, towel bars, draperies and drapery rods, and reinstall repainted convector covers. Renovate private baths with new fixtures and finishes 2. Plumbing: At each vanity, disconnect existing lavatory, replace water supply stop valves, and install new lavatory trim piping and faucet. Disconnect and hook-ups for all new private bath fixtures. 3. Mechanical: Install all required fans and venting to exterior for all private baths. 4. Electrical: Remove and replace wall-mounted light fixtures above each vanity. Remove and reinstall surface-mounted wire mold, switches, receptacles and ceiling light fixtures, including wiring. Remove and reinstall surface-mounted telecommunication wire mold and boxes; all telecom cabling work by Owner (see Article 3.e below). 5. Fire Alarm: Remove and reinstall existing surface-mounted fire alarm devices. 6. Telecommunications: Removal of voice / data and cable television (CATV) cabling from existing student room raceways and boxes to points above corridor ceilings, reinstallation of voice / data and CATV cabling in raceways and boxes that are provided by the Constructor as part of the student room renovations, communication system terminations and testing.
