A timeline or award has not yet been established.** The Town of West Springfield is seeking sealed bids from qualified general contractors for Circle Drive and School Connection Water Main Improvements (IFB #23-0015). Bidding procedures shall be in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 30, section 39M. Minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 26 to 27H. Reference Number 0000306401 Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond from a licensed surety company, or a Certified check, or a Treasurer's or Cashier's check in the amount of five (5%) percent of the base bid payable to the Town of West Springfield. A Payment bond and a Performance bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price will be required of the Successful Bidder. The successful bidder will also be required to furnish workmen's compensation insurance and public liability insurance.
