The Contractor shall perform HVAC preventive maintenance and repair services at the Guste High Rise Housing Community, located at 1301 Simon Bolivar, New Orleans, Louisiana 70113. The Contractor must have experience in working on various types of HVAC systems such as (VAV) Variable Air Volume Systems, Chilled Water and Heating Hot Water Systems and Exhaust Systems. The Contractor must have experience in the operation, repair and/or maintenance of large or industrial type stationary engines or mechanical equipment such as air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, pumping, generating or closely related systems. The Contractor must possess a Second-Class Operating License a required by Orleans Parish Code and an appropriate EPA refrigerant recycling and recovery certification as required under Section 608 of the Clean Air Act, 1990. The Agency anticipates that it will initially award a contract for the period of one (1) year with the option, at the Agencys discretion, of 2 additional oneyear option periods, for a total maximum contract period of 3 years. The Agency reserves the right to: Reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in the RFQ process, or to terminate the RFQ process at any time, if deemed by the Agency to be in its best interests.
