**As of March 9, 2023, the Downtown Parking and Wayfinding Sign project was awarded to Metro Signs & Lighting $74,995. The estimated cost is $88,000. The City of Greenville is seeking a qualified company to provide a firm fixed price for the design, procurement, and installation of the Downtown Parking Lot & Wayfinding Signs. The objective of this Contract is to design and provide and install signs that are similar to existing signs, which are shown in Exhibit 1, Current Signs. The intention of the design is to direct the attention of out-of-town public to free parking opportunities. Signs need to be visible and clear and designed to draw the eye for the information without obstructing visibility to entering and exiting traffic. The dimensions and legends are provided for reference in Exhibit 3, Sign List and shown on the examples in Exhibit 2, Sign Examples. The dimensions are approximate. The Contractor shall field verify the dimensions prior to the procurement of the signs with no additional cost to the owner. The contractor should verify the accuracy of all sign language prior to procurement. The Contractor shall provide all equipment and tools necessary to complete the project. The City of Greenville is requesting bids for the design, procurement, and installation of Downtown Parking Lot & Wayfinding Signs. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the bid opening. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive technical defects, and to select the proposal(s) deemed most advantageous to the City. Any quantities or measurements stated are estimates only and each contractor is responsible for taking their own measurements. Failure to assess the bid specifications and obtain your own measurements will not relieve the successful bidder of an obligation to furnish all products and labor necessary to carry out the provisions of the contract and to provide a turnkey product.
