This project includes: remove the existing synthetic turf, E-layer and nailer board; install new synthetic turf with center logo, football, soccer, boys and girls lacrosse markings, install a new force reduction E-layer pad, touch up the existing fine aggregate drainage layer, install new nailer board; alternate bids to include: install a new bituminous pavement for the south D-zone; Install a new steel reinforced low water content concrete pavement with vapor barrier for the south D-zone; install a new 13mm Beynon BSS 1000 track surface for the south D-zone. Make bids on the bid form supplied in the Project Specifications. No oral, telegraphic or telephone bids or modifications will be considered. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Performance Bond. No Bid Bond is required. Bids may not be withdrawn within thirty (30) days after the scheduled time of the opening bids, without consent of the Owner. The Owner requires Start of Construction no earlier than June 12, 2023 and Substantial Completion of the project prior to August 11, 2023. In order to have proper cure time on the bituminous or concrete pavement alternates, the alternate, if selected, shall start no later than June 12, 2023 and must be complete by June 30, 2023. A pre-bid meeting will not be held. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or parts of such bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding.
