Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Galveston, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a stadium; for site work for a stadium; educational facility; and educational facility.
As of June 14, 2023, construction is underway. The Galveston Independent School District will accept responses to its Request for Proposal (RFP) for a one-step selection process for a Construction Manager at Risk (CMaR) firm to provide CMaR services for the New Ball High School & Natatorium Project, and the New Press box at Courville Stadium. The selection process will follow the requirements of the Texas Education Code Section 44.031 and 44.038 as clarified by Senate Bill 669. Questions about the project and the Request for Proposals should be addressed to PBK, Architects, Inc., attention. Mrs. Lexi Ward, Project Coordinator at lexi.khoury@pbk.com. The construction budget for the New Ball High School & Natatorium project is $207,045,980.00 and New Press box at Courville Stadium project is$5,000,000.00.
