For 2023 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project The Work included in this Contract consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials for the cured in place lining of approximately 1,098 linear feet of 8" Vitrified Clay Pipe (VCP) sanitary sewer main through right of ways and public roads. This includes by-pass pumping, internal jet cleaning, pre and post television inspection of the sewer mains, reinstatement and grouting of lateral connections. The Project also includes light cleaning and televising of 12,965 lf of 8" sanitary sewer mains, heavy cleaning of 346 lf of 8" sanitary sewer main, a total of 14 Cured In Place Point repairs, root removal from 3 sewer laterals and removal of 3 protruding laterals/seal rings. In addition, this project includes the light cleaning and television inspection of approximately 3,665 LF of 20" sanitary sewer main through existing right of ways (There are sections of this 20" sanitary sewer main that will require heavy cleaning, however the extent of the heavy cleaning is not known and is estimated to be approximately 2,000 lf). CLARIFICATION DEADLINE: 1/12/2023 4:00 PM Each Proposal for the Project shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form provided by the Contract Documents, drawn to the order of the Womelsdorf Sewer Authority, and in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the extended Bid Amount, as a guarantee that if the Proposal is accepted, a Contract will be entered into and the performance thereby properly secured. The Womelsdorf Sewer Authority, Owner hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse and reject any or all bids submitted, to waive any informality in bids received, and to accept the Bid, which is in the best interest of the Authority, consistent with the laws affecting municipal contract awards.
