The Agency reserves the right to approve or reject (and demand the movement) of the placement of any such equipment or vehicles at any time during the performance of the contracted work if, in the opinion of the Agency, the placement of such equipment or vehicles does interfere with such traffic. If applicable, a copy of the bidder business license allowing that entity to provide such services within the City of Abilene, Taylor County, and/or the State of Texas Any prevailing wage rate (including basic hourly rate and any fringe benefits), determined under State or tribal law to be prevailing, with respect to any employee in any trade or position employed under the contract, is inapplicable to the contract and shall not be enforced against the Contractor or any subcontractor, with respect to employees engaged under the contract whenever such non-Federal prevailing wage rate exceeds Abilene Housing Authority is requesting sealed bids to resurface cabinets, countertops, tubs, and install new flooring in all 213 units as described below.
1. Remove, sand, stain and reinstallation of cabinet doors and boxes in kitchens and bathrooms; Remove, purchase and install heavy duty cabinet hinges; Install cabinet and drawer pulls in kitchen and bathroom - 163 units
2. Remove and replace all cabinet boxes and doors in kitchens and bathrooms; Remove, purchase and install heavy duty cabinet hinges; Install cabinet and drawer pulls in kitchen and bathroom at Riviera Apartments, 3001 N. 6th St. – 50 units
NOTE: Only cabinets that are in bad condition and cannot be repaired should be replaced. Pre-approval is required by Public Housing Manager.
3. Resurfacing of countertops, tubs, showers, and enclosures for tubs/showers. - 213 units
4. Install new LVT flooring in all units-213 units Question Deadline 06/23/2023 at 1:00 PM CT
