Site work for a water / sewer project in Blueberry Mountain, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Work of the Project, of which Work of this Contract is a part, comprises the following: Construction of a potable water pumping station and reservoir including: .1 Vehicle access road, site grading, and surfacing, .2 Security fence, .3 Concrete substructure, .4 Building superstructure, .5 Process-mechanical equipment and piping, .6 Heating ventilation and plumbing, .7 Electrical, instrumentation and controls, and .8 Testing and commissioning. Replacement of an existing potable water distribution system including: .1 Installation of 75 mm and 50 mm diameter HDPE water mains over a combined distance of approximately 5.2 km by horizontal-directional drilling and open cut methods. .2 Reconnection of services to existing buildings. .3 Installation of watermain appurtenances including isolation valves and standpipe assemblies. Decommissioning of an existing water pumping station, including removal of existing process-mechanical equipment, sealing existing pipes and wall openings and placing the facility in suitable condition for continued use as a storage facility.
