Renovation of a stadium in Baie-Comeau, Quebec. Design plans call for the renovation of a stadium.
Upgrades to Henri Desjardins Center: exterior work (North, West and East walls, insulation, concrete foundation reinforcement) and construction of a new mezzanine to house a new electrical room and new stairs to the mezzanine; demolishing of the existing electrical room. Project # 1044. TIMELINE: Design is underway. Tender is anticipated in December, 2026. It might be combined with curling area upgrades work covered in the report under ID name: Centre Henri Desjardins (CHD) - Curling Area Upgrades. Project will be developed in two phases. Phase 1 (Rink B) - Phase 1 construction is to be completed in fall, 2026. Design for Phase 2 (Rink A) is to be completed by summer, 2026. Phase 2 construction start scheduling is the subject to funding approvals. Further update in winter, 2026
