The City of Norwalk Public Works Department (Norwalk DPW) is soliciting qualifications from experienced consulting firms to assist in achieving compliance with the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection's (CTDEEP) General Permit for the Discharge of Stormwater from Small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4 General Permit). The requirements of this project are outlined in greater detail under Section 2 Scope of Work/Project Specifications Questions Due Date: Jan 12th 2023, 2:00 PM EST The selected proposer will be required to agree to and sign a formal written contract between the City of Norwalk and the proposer, prepared by the Law Department of the City of Norwalk. A sample of the contract, is provided in a separate section to illustrate the type of contract the City will use to contract for this project. It is the intention of the City of Norwalk to enter into an agreement period of one (1) year with an option to extend for two (2) additional terms for one (1) year each. Any renewal is contingent upon satisfactory performance by the contractor and the City of Norwalk's desire to continue with these services The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
