This project will consist of the repair and rehab of approximately +-2,420 l.f. of sanitary sewer pipe by pipe bursting. It will also include the repair and/or replacement of manholes, manhole rings and covers, service reconnections, clean outs and appurtenances. Street and pavement restoration will be required within the project area. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid issued by an acceptable surety. A certified check or bank draft made payable to the City of La Coste may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. Bids must be submitted on forms furnished. No bid may be withdrawn for 60 days after the above scheduled closing time for receipt of bids Bids may be held by the City of La Coste for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract awards. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirement as to the conditions of employment to be observed and to the fact that not less than the Federally Determined Prevailing Wage Rates (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts), as issued by the Department of Labor and contained in the contract documents MUST be paid on this project. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, sexual identity, gender identity or national origin. Attention is called to General Conditions 141: "Restrictions of Public Buildings and Public Works Projects". The bidder certifies by the submission of its bid that it: 1.
