Site work for a water / sewer project in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of November 5, 2025, per owner, engineer and contractor identified. Construction began March 10, 2025. The City of Cape Girardeau is soliciting statements of qualifications from interested firms (consultants) for professional services for surveying, geotechnical engineering, and civil engineering, to work with the City of Cape Girardeau in preparing plans, specifications and bid documents for Parks and Recreation and Stormwater Phase 2 (PRS2) projects. These drainage improvement projects are to replace/upgrade the existing street crossings. The projects are: Westwood Drive, between Glenridge Drive and Sherwood Drives Glenridge Drive, west of Westwood Drive Melrose, between Margaret Street and Randol Drive Lisa Drive, west of Randol Drive Perryville Road, between Sherwood Drive and Rotary Drive All of the above projects shall be completed and grant funds expended by December 2026 as stipulated by the grant funding guidelines.
